By using NFC capable Android phones, exhibitors can scan the radio-frequency identification tags embedded in the trade show name badges.
The RFID tags in the name badges are encoded with an identification number and the information printed on the face of the badge. The RFID tags do not contain any additional personal information. When an attendee allows their name badge to be scanned by an exhibitor, the RFID @ INTIX app will collect the attendee badge information and any exhibitor notes. After the show, INTIX will combine this data with show registration data (attendee’s name, company, phone number, email address, and mailing address) and provide it to the exhibitor.
